July Newsletter 2020

Welcome to our July news and updates as we celebrate new residents Paul, Marleen, Rosemary and Lee joining the Champion Lakes Family. We have discovered Rosemary is very artistic and has brought with her a Pottery Kiln to use in our hobby shed which sounds like lots of fun!

We celebrated the Derby with an early sausage sizzle while watching West Coast defeat Fremantle on our Big Screen TV projector. The Eagles flag flew high in the sky at Champion Lakes, much to the disapointment of Denise.

Our Christmas in July feast was catered by Spit Roast WA who prepaired a gourmet dinner for our residents including Prime Yearling Roast Beef, Pork and Turkey with Pavlova for desert.

Thank you Faye for organising the evening, it was great to feel the Christmas spirit, tinsel, lights and all.

Last Friday Rob and his team from SCI put on an afternoon of Golf Simulation Fun! Champion Lakes Residents verses Staff and Trades made for a competition that ran well into the night! Congrats Marg for taking out the championship win, unfortunately her partner was not so fortunate, better luck next time Kev.

Thankyou Rob and Nathan for not only supplying the drinks! But also, for the state of the art security and communication system you provide our residents and the dedicated continued support. We really appreciate all that you do.

The Village Bus is available any time for residents to enjoy group excursions together. As our village grows, we look forward to regular outings with new friends and exciting times ahead.

Work has commenced on our next display homes with four new builds starting this month! Our homes are constructed in a lightning fast ten weeks with double glazing, 6 star energy rating and quality finishes. Please feel free to drop in any time to see the construction process and enjoy a coffee at the lodge.

Best Wishes Keith, Jane, Leah, Ben and Family.
